The St. John Richardson Liddell Chapter # 271 was Chartered in Bay Minette, Alabama on April 8, 2002.  The Chapter rapidly grew to become one of the largest in the State of Alabama.

     The Chapter has sponsored the Gulf Coast Civil War Expo for the last two years in Bay Minette and will do so again this Spring.  It has also sponsored Confederate Memorial Services, Lee Jackson Dinners and hosted the State MOSB Convention in 2003.

     The Chapter has procured Confederate History Proclamations each year from the City of Bay Minette and Baldwin County and has arranged for reenactors to march in the Veterans Day Parade for two years in a row.

     The Chapter is currently busy planning this years Expo and helping to plan the National Reunion in Mobile.

     The Chapter also actively searches for graves of Confederate Officers and, where necessary, cleans and maintains them.  The Chapter is currently ordering tombstones for those Confederate Officers in our area who need them.

     Regular Chapter meetings are always open to visitors and are held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6:00 PM.  For more information, please contact the webmaster.
